This research transcends conventional AI alignment studies by embedding itself at the critical intersection of computational ethics and ecological survival—a nexus demanding urgent scholarly intervention as climate tipping points loom. Where existing alignment frameworks often treat "values" as abstract preferences, we anchor them in the physical reality of dying coral reefs and desertifying farmlands, creating the first methodology to visualize how AI models cognitively weigh human laws against Earth’s biophysical laws. This approach fundamentally reorients alignment theory from anthropocentric convenience toward planetary boundaries, forcing a confrontation with AI's role in either accelerating or mitigating the sixth mass extinction. By dissecting GPT-4’s hidden prioritization of corporate compliance metrics over species extinction thresholds—and surgically recalibrating it through gradient-guided interventions—we establish a replicable template for aligning commercial AI with life-centered jurisprudence. Crucially, our leakage containment protocols directly address the AI industry’s most dangerous blind spot: the uncontrolled overspill of value interventions into unrelated domains, which could inadvertently weaponize environmental ethics in contexts like healthcare or credit scoring. The TF-IDF-based thresholds we propose will empower regulators to mandate "objective firewalls" in general-purpose models, preventing high-stakes deployments from degenerating into ethical monocultures.
